Hello! My name is Melissa! I am a student at Ferris State University. I am majoring in Applied Speech and Communication with a minor in Child Psychology and a certificate in Special Events and Meeting Planning.

During the school year I love to keep busy. I am a full time student and participate in a recycling club as well as the Communication Association for my major. I am also an active member to a Sorority where I am Fitness Chair.

I have a lot of experience with working with children. I have been babysitting since middle school and was certified through the American Red Cross. I have been working at camps as a camp counselor since June 2007. In addition to babysitting and camp I've also assistant taught in the Safety Town Program for 4 years and worked at a Before/After School program with grades K-5. I've also done some Special Events and Volunteer Programs.

I have experience with the little ones through a program and working at a Daycare during my first year at Ferris.

Besides babysitting I've also nannied for 3 children whom I've met on this site and can handle the responsibility of the children, driving, and the household.

During Spring of 2009 I had the opportunity of working in Orlando, Florida for a theme park, which was a very life changing experience!
