Creative, energetic and educational caregiver looking to provide full-time summer care and possible evening and weekend care in the fall for a family that has anywhere between one and three children. I am an Illinois certified substitute teacher for grades K-8 and a Master's of Education graduate student. Not only do I teach and manage 20-35 children during a school day but I formally home schooled my own children for five years and taught at many home school enrichment programs. I have been a club storyteller, a Sunday school teacher for children, a preschool substitute teacher, vacation bible school worker, and have cared for many children in my home ranging from 1-13 years old. I also have some experience with children with mild-moderate special needs.

I will provide your children with the right balance of structured and free time activities that are age-appropriate and engaging. Your children will also be able to become playmates with my three children while they all work on their social skills! Additionally, I would love to take your children on a few select field trips if you're open to it. Since I am a private tutor and certified substitute teacher I can also provide tutoring services while your children are in my care. I am willing to drive your children to lessons, etc. while in my care for a small additional charge to cover gasoline costs.
