Hello, I am 27 years old student studying child development and special ed. I am the middle child of 11 children. I used to watch my younger brothers often as a growing teen. I really enjoyed that and ever since I have been taking care of little ones and helping parents out. I have 15 years experience as a nanny/babysitter and I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am very outgoing, reliable, sweet, hands-on, trusting, patient, and very loving. I love working with young minds and watching them grow. I have a strong passion in what I do and I enjoy every moment of it. I have worked with all different types of age groups ranging from newborn to teenager (lots of experience changing diapers, burping, bathing, and feeding). I have worked with children with special needs and behavioral problems as well as ADHD, ADD. I cared for a family who's daughter had a seizure disorder and needed 24/7 care she was 9 years old and had seizures 3 times a day. I would have to give her special medicine to help stop her seizures. I also cared for a set of twins. They were a boy and girl and I started care for them when they were 2 months old. I would show up early morning and provide round the clock care for them. I took care of them till they started the first grade bitter sweet moment when I had to leave. I have also cared for three children 8, 5, 2 full time they were sweet kids who really enjoyed reading and playing outside. We used to love baking cookies. I enjoy reading and doing arts and crafts and playing board games with the children as well as being able to go for walks or play outside. I do bring arts and crafts, coloring books, sidewalk chalk and other fun things with me. Love reading, teaching and building life skills with your child. I have helped wit potty training as well as getting little ones to read and dress themselves. I am very hands on in what I do and I want you as well as your child to be able to express your feelings freely to me at anytime. It is my job to make sure that the family I work for is completely happy and trust me with their child.
I am looking for a full time, part-time, when schools out, as needed, date night or overnight childcare job in the Suffolk area. Please feel free to contact me to set up a interview.
