I'm been babysitting since I was 14, volunteered at the elementary school with first graders for 4years. In my senior year of high school I was a teacher's aide for two hours a day with kindergarteners. I moved to El Paso and lived there for 2 years. I was nanny/babysitter for a few families. Getting the kids ready for school, straightening up the house, laundry for the kids and picking them up after school. I have since moved back to Michigan. Last October I started working in a local daycare as the preschool teacher aide. I prepared meals, assisted in large and small group activities, monitored kids from 2-10 years old. Unfortunately, my hours were cut due to lack of kids so I found a new job at the local school's day care program. I'm currently in charge of the latchkey(5-12years old) room and part time help in the Preschool and Infant rooms.
