As a recently employed Residential Treatment Center Houseparent at Hill Country Youth Ranch, I provided a Christian family home environment for children of neglect and abuse. I administered medications to residents, transported children in care, and was very attentive to the physical, emotional, spiritual and academic growth of the children.

My time with Hill Country Youth Ranch has equipped myself to execute quick thinking skills, participate in training and supervisory conferences to enhance child-care adroitness and provide a living style that stimulates environmental exposure, self-confidence, trust and love in people. The past 4.5 years working as a lifeguard and swim instructor has fostered a servants heart within me as I taught and guided those I worked with to success. I have an excellent rapport with kids as demonstrated by my experience staffing for a summer camp known as Sonshine Ministries. My time volunteering at this very unique Christian camp has trained, equipped, developed and provided an opportunity for me to grow in service, leadership and maturity. I am certified as a Professional Child Care Worker and Certified by the American Red Cross in CPR/First Aid.
