I am a full time student at Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Psychology. I have grown up around children my whole life. Coming from a large family, the oldest of 3 girls in my immediate family and the second oldest out of 15 children in my extended family, I am knowledgeable with needs and psychological development of children. I volunteer at my church in my hometown as a childcare provider for children 2 and under. Through a program at church, my family opens our home to small children whose families are in need. Most of these children are under the age of 5; I have been responsible for caring for these children on nights on weekends for over a year. My sisters are 11 and 16, so I am comfortable with kids of all ages. Having been around children my whole life, I know it is important to keep a child's routine even on nights when parents are not available. I am at school currently and have limited availability but I am a part of a sorority at school and I know many reliable women who also have tons of babysitting experience. If I can't make it at a certain time, I can probably find a fabulous reliable replacement.
