Melissa was employed as our Nanny for five months and proved to be the best thing that could have happened to our girls and our family. She was hired to care for our 3 month old and 2 year old full time in our home. She not only cared for them as we had wished, but went above and beyond everyday. It was tough to see her leave, but since she was relocating, we had to say goodbye. Melissa is responsible, motivated, educated and very caring. Her work ethic was the strongest I had seen in the field and her natural ability to cope with her surroundings was impressive. She has a great personality in general which made our conversations so seamless and kept the communication open and enlightening. She was always asking questions and made sure to keep on top of all of our requests. The girls napped everyday, ate their meals, read books consistently, made awesome arts and crafts, and asked for her at night when she was gone. She was so involved on a daily basis and kept us aware of all the doings throughout the day. Her organization skills impressed me in the interview and proved to be outstanding on a daily basis. She showed up with a communication book for each of them and filled it out down to the minute. The girls were her first priority, but there was not one day where I came home and my house was not pristine. She did the dishes, straightened up and organized the toys, did their laundry and even bathed the girls. One of her greatest qualities is her take-charge personality. She took the lead when she needed to which made our lives so much easier. Lunch was never a concern because I knew she would find the best meal available that day without me dictating a menu to her. She even steamed vegetables for my toddler without me needing to ask and occasionally started dinner for us. I would highly recommend Melissa for employment to anybody looking for a well-organized, responsible, timely, independent, intelligent and caring individual. Anybody would be lucky to have her as an employee.
