Melissa was absolutely phenomenal! She was proactive, considerate and accommodating throughout this process. Email correspondence was timely and appropriate. After I notified her she was hired, she called to discuss details about the job instead of relying on email. During the discussion she asked thoughtful questions and was ready for a phone interview, but her credentials as a teaching assistant and mom were evident. On the day of our event, she was punctual and easily adjusted for a last minute time change. Our children reacted well to her - she put them at ease and kept them engaged until bedtime. She read to our children, got them to clean their rooms (a huge bonus!), made dinner and made sure we came home to a house that was better than we left it. Working with her as a caregiver was a joy, and allowed us to focus on the mountain of tasks we had to accomplish prior to leaving. I am glad to know she is studying to become a teacher - she is exactly the kind of person that I would want to teach my children. Melissa is 1 of 2 people we will contact prior to posting a job on Care.com.

When I went out of town, I left my leopard gecko with her for almost a month. I was very nervous about leaving him because a gecko's health can go bad very quickly if not taken care of properly. Upon meeting Melissa my mind was put at ease. She was very knowledgeable about gecko's and very excited to keep him. When I returned he was fantastic and very healthy! On top of being an awesome caregiver, Melissa is a very nice, welcoming person. I am so happy that I picked Melissa to take care of my pet, and I will definitely utilize her services in the future. I highly recommend anyone that needs a pet sitter to choose Melissa. Thanks again Melissa! You rock! :D
