I have been working with children for over 11 years now, with about 9 years of paid experience. I find joy in this work, especially creating a space for kids to have fun and feel cared about. This role feels very natural to me. I grew up in a big family so it's a really great fit. I am an active person. I have a background in dance training, and I love to be creative and use my imagination. I like to sing, and play board games, explore outdoors, and enjoy quality time with people. Friends consider me warm, compassionate, very responsible, patient, and a good listener. I am a service-oriented individual; it's my top love language. I like to help as much as I can. I'm good at cleaning and tidying up. I make a game of it, so it never gets old.
I have spent the last 5 years working for several families part-time, with children of all ages, and a few months of last spring working more than full-time with 2 infants in a nanny share. I had to part with them, sadly, when planning my wedding and working 50 plus hours became too much to juggle. I am seeking a family with a need for fewer hours now, perhaps 5 to 20 hours per week. I work part-time (12 to 15 hours) at a library, but my schedule is pretty flexible. My sitter pay rate is also variable, depending on your family size and the responsibilities of the job, so please just ask!
