Melanie has watched our 2 boys off and on for a couple of years. She even watched them all day when we moved across town, and I was so happy that she was available at that time because she kept the boys happily busy and away from all of the boxes and commotion of the move! My oldest son always requests her when we need to get a babysitter because he loves having her around. She reads, sings, and plays cars/trains with them and really cares about how they are doing. Melanie also does a wonderful job of keeping things very neat around the house after the boys have gone to sleep. I highly recommend Melanie as a caregiver because she is such a prompt & caring person.

Nanny Melanie interviewed with us and started working with us on a very short notice. This was because our previous long time nanny had to leave for her home country on very short notice because of a death in the family. Without much transition time, I was quite impressed to see how my toddler and Melanie got off to a very good start. Melanie genuinely cared about my little one and always kept my little boy neat and clean and well fed, and he just loved playing with her. He started speaking his first sentences "catch the ball", shortly after Melanie taught him to do so. With our hectic work schedules in a software industry, it was a blessing to know that we could trust our most prized possession -our toddler in Melanie's care. It was always a joy to come back home to see it so well kept and cleaned up by Melanie. Having worked as a school teacher herself, Melanie loved teaching my little one and would sing and read to my little boy and keep him stimulated as well as was very particular about his nap times and keeping everything on schedule. We would have loved to keep Melanie longer, but my toddler started going to preschool and having scaled back my hours my job became more home based. Melanie is a very soft-spoken, trust-worthy and caring person and we honestly wish she finds a wonderful family. Having interviewed and worked with a few caregivers, it is sometimes the character and integrity of a person that counts more than one's work experience and hence I recommend her strongly.
