My name is Melanie. I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's in English Literature and a minor in Psychology. I also have experience working with children. In 1996, I worked at a daycare in Orem. They had infants that I helped care for. I also helped care for children from ages 3-8. For two years, from 1997-1999, I worked as a preschool teacher at a school. Last year, through my religious affiliation, I volunteered my time as a nursery leader. I took care of children (from 1-3 years of age) for two hours while their parents attended church meetings. Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30, I currently volunteer my time as a religious teacher for a special needs group (ages 12-18). Also, a few months ago, I cared for a 4-month-old infant boy. The position offered occasional hours instead of regular hours and I needed regular hours. However, I did request to be the occasional "date night" nanny. Currently, I work in Park City as a full-time nanny for a 6-month-old infant girl. Now, I am only looking for the occasional hours in the evenings. I charge $10 an hour for the care of 1-2 children and $15 an hour for the care of 3+ children. You may have noticed that I live in Pleasant Grove, but I do have my own transportation.
