I am a 25-year-old who works as a Behavioral Counselor in a local elementary school with children ages 4 to 11. This is my third year working in the school setting with children who have ADHD and other mental health diagnoses. This has taught me the importance of consistency and follow through, especially with behavior management. I have also served as a mentor to children of all ages through internships and work. In addition to my career of working with children, I have 7 younger brothers and sisters that I helped care for from infancy on while growing up (including a set of twins!). I also have babysitting experience. I understand the importance of a schedule/routine for children, but also like to be creative through games, crafts, and play.
