I grew up the oldest in a family with four children. Not only was I assigned various responsibilities while caring for my siblings, but I also took care of four dogs! I have six younger cousins that I grew up baby-sitting on a weekly basis. Taking care of children is important to me because I believe I am a very nurturing and responsible person. I get along very will with kids of all ages. I can come down to their level without being condescending while also maintaining respect. I believe it is very important to try and relate with what children are saying. This makes them feel like they are learning and you know the point they are trying to get across.
