As a 2012 Middle Childhood Education graduate of the University of Cincinnati, I have a wide range of experiences working with children. I taught a class of 32 seventh graders through my student teaching practicum. This position enabled me to become involved with students outside of the classroom by being an assistant coach to the junior high basketball team. While attending college, I have tutored several different students who speak English as a Second Language at The Academy of World Languages and a variety of grade levels in math and reading through an SES tutoring program. During three years with SES tutoring in particular, I have worked with at least one special needs child every year. I have also worked in daycares, caring for children as young as two and as old as 13 for about one and a half years. I recently started a part-time sitting job where I care for a 16-month-old three days a week. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, responsible, and intelligent caregiver who will be a positive and welcoming adult in your child's life.
