Hi, my name is Megan. I am a senior here at UF and I am studying Early Childhood Education. I have a lot of experience with children and have volunteered at several of the schools here in Gainesville. In order to do so, I was fingerprinted by the county and had a background check done, so I feel comfortable that I am suitable to care for your children. I am very comfortable with children of all ages and of varying skills and disabilities. I graduate in May with my Bachelor's and then I begin my Master's program May 12, so I will be here for a while. I have been baby-sitting for a very long time and since I've been in college I've baby-sat pretty consistently. I baby-sat for a family here in Gainesville for about two years. They had a 2-year-old boy and then a newborn girl. They recently moved to Tennessee in November and I began being a mother's helper for another family in Gainesville who had two girls, 13 and 9. I worked with them until about a month ago. I am from Tampa and baby-sit a lot for another family there; they have a 5-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. I have even spent the week with the kids on several different occasions while their parents were out of town.
