At a young age I began babysitting my two little brothers. I took care of dirty diapers and runny noses. As I grew up I began baby-sitting the children that grew up around my neighbor. That slowly progressed into babysitting for family friends.

Gaining more experience taking care of children, I started to work as a summer camp counselor. I was a counselor for several years, taking care of up to 10 children at a time. During this period I would help out with arts and crafts as well as athletic activities.

I have always loved kids. I think that everything (even the not so pleasant things) they do is just so cute. However, if a child gets out of line I am not afraid to put my foot down. I have dealt with all kinds of children, different attitudes and ages, I believe in constantly engaging with them. The TV is not in charge I am.

I am currently in college. I am a Liberal Arts major. I enjoy writing, music, the arts, travel, and experiencing new things. Though I have never been a nanny before, I have tons of experience with children. I would love to become a nanny this summer. Between my years of experience with children and my caring, loving nature, I think I up for it.
