Throughout high school, I babysat children on the weekends. I recently graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors Degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences. My concentration is in the following: child development, language disorders in children, speech delays, and psychology. I was working in Early Intervention (birth to three) as a developmental specialist for Washington County Board of DD. I worked with children who had developmental delays/disabilities. I had to quit this job in order to care for my premature daughter. She was born at 31 weeks. We spent 5 weeks in the NICU at Ohio State. I did not want to put her in daycare because her immune system was compromised. Now, she is 8 months old, and very healthy. We are looking to care for children throughout the day or evening. If I am required to go to your home and babysit, I have to take my daughter with me. If it is at night time, my husband can watch her most of the time.
