Hi! I'm currently looking for families to babysit for that may need an occasional sitter for date nights and weekends. I grew up babysitting and through high school and college I chose summer nanny jobs over internships. I started working for an incredible corporate company right after college, and now 4 years into it I'm finding it is not my calling. I live in Hoboken, NJ with my husband and our great big dog. I am looking for a part time/ occasional babysitter position in Hoboken, NJ for a wonderful family that it is in need of an extra pair of hands to get it all done.

Starting February, 2012 I am looking for a family that needs help starting mid evenings, late nights and weekends. All day sitting also available depending on schedule.

I've had incredible experiences babysitting infant twins, larger young families (3 and 4 children under the age of 9 years) as well as only children and special needs. I have impeccable references, although most reside in New Hampshire (where I grew up) but they are only an email or phone call away.

I am very comfortable with watching children in water. In high school I was a competitive swimmer, I grew up with a pool and was always at the beach. I know how quickly an accident can happen and the importance of water safety with young children. I have not taken a traditional CPR/First Aid class, but can if preferred.

I am a licensed driver, with access to a car, although in Hoboken, NJ I think some of the best adventures are found on foot. :)

What I am looking for in a family: A happy environment with kind, understanding, and respectful children and parents. I hope to be an active part of the family dynamic and am looking for both the right fit with the kids as well as mom and dad!
