I love kids and really enjoy spending time playing, teaching, and taking care of children. I'm a currently a student at RCC and just got back from Hawaii where I was interning at a bible college where I was doing work as the Assistant Dean of Women. Previous to that I have also worked as a waitress. As far as previous childcare goes, while I was in Hawaii I volunteered for a single mom to watch her 12 month old son and watched him 2-3 times a week. Also, this past fall I tutored a first grade girl who was slightly behind in school as well as her 3-year-old brother doing basic ABC's, counting, etc. which I did for around 9 hours a week. I've also worked as a teacher's assistant before at an elementary school when I was still in high school. Both of my parents have worked for the Central Point school district and often I would aid at their schools working with kids. Hope this helps to get an idea of my past and give you an idea of my heart and love for kids. I'm really willing to be flexible with rates. I would love to make around 8/hour, but I realize that's not always practical, so I'm more than willing to discuss and change as needed.
