I am not needed around here much anymore, and I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life. I love children! I love being a mom, I believe it is the greatest gift we can be given. To care for and help nurture children is what I love to do, and I believe is what I am good at. I believe patience, dedication, structure, and sacrifice combined with a ton of hugs and a good dose of common sense usually can do the trick. I am blessed that my children have all been eager learners, and have never struggled in school. They are all honors/IB students with averages in the 90s, but what I am most proud of is their character. They are kind, caring, generous, helpful, and very close as siblings (they really like each other). Honestly, these are the character traits I am most proud of. I don't believe that happens by chance. Teaching them how special they are, finding what they are passionate about and being there for them (whether it's homework time or or a fight with a friend it is something my husband and I have made a priority). To be able to do that for other children then my own is something I would love to be part of.
