I am 25 years-old and I have been an elementary school teacher for the past three years. Now I am a graduate student in Columbia's Masters in Social Work Program. Previously, I graduated from Duke, majoring in History, and a double minor in Education, and Psychology.

I also previously worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers at a local church on Sundays. I am responsible for taking care of their physical needs, including changing diapers, as well as playing with them, and teaching them. I love to get on the floor and play. I am not a person who just sticks kids in front of the TV.

I worked in an after school and summer camp for a little over 3 years, working with students in K-5. I have also been a substitute teacher in both elementary and middle schools. I am looking for a weekend, afternoon, or night position. It can be a one time job, or a recurring one.

I am a very energetic person, and am great with kids. I play tennis, and am an excellent swimmer. Also, I have previously had my CPR and First Aid Certification, which has since lapsed. I am willing to work with children of all ages. I have references available on request.
