Every since I was little I have been taking care of children. Not only that I really enjoyed being around kids. I have ranged from taking care of newborns all the way up to 9-years-old. Growing up I always saw child care as more of a leisurely thing, but in the later years of high school I saw it as something I would like to make as a career. In my junior and senior year of high school I got a taste of the teaching lifestyle and spent both years teaching Kindergarten and 1st graders. I saw that when I was teaching these young minds that they were the people who needed a role model most. Before teaching though I took care of my little brothers ever since they were infants, so that my parents could work and have time to themselves. The usual things that I did for the kids was cook for them and all around care for them. I like taking care of all types of kids and am willing to be live in help if necessary.
