I have been teaching and babysitting for over 15 years. I was a Waldorf class teacher for four years, but stopped to focus on raising my little boy who is a toddler. Now, I am in a position to work part-time. I tutor twice a week, but can also make time for infrequent care giving (once or twice a week, maybe). Ideally, I'd love to provide childcare in my house so my son, who is 18 months old, can play with your child. I parent and care give in ways that are in line with Magda Gerber's philosophies as well as Rudolf Steiner's. My background is in art and I have a master's degree in elementary education. I can knit, crochet, draw, paint, play guitar, sing, speak Japanese and Korean, cook, story-tell and sew. I love going on nature walks with children. In my household, we seldom watch TV. I am all for organic, back to nature type parenting!
