I am a mature, energetic semi-empty nester Mom, with plenty of experience with children and a good sense of humor. I have a B. A. in Education from Boston College, and home-schooled my son beyond the kitchen table myth! I ran a mothers' day field trip group when my son was born, from infancy to toddler age, getting moms together to network and expose our kids to the outdoors and gross motor activities. I have taught skiing to children ages 4 to 12 years and was an elementary school teacher in the Virgin Islands for four years. Children are the angels of life and I miss having a little one around. Therefore, I am willing to take care of your treasures and work with your family needs. Manners, politeness and stimulating their minds with appropriate play are my priorities, as well as a working knowledge of Waldorf and Montessori philosophy, so therefore, your child will be in knowledgeable, reliable and trustworthy hands!
