As long as I can remember, I've been a babysitter or caregiver of some kind. I'm the youngest of three sisters, and always wanted younger siblings, so I think my desire to care for other stems from early on! I adore the families that I've gotten to know and work with over the years of being a nanny and babysitting, and have developed lasting friendships and relationships over the years. I began babysitting at age 11, and still find so much joy in childcare at age 23. I've worked with children from newborn up to age 14, and find each age so rewarding and fun to work with. I spent a semester abroad during college, where I held a internship working in a school with behaviorally and emotionally challenged 5-year-olds, which was simultaneously the most challenging thing I've ever done as well as the most rewarding. I've been with one family in particular for nearly 10 years, and it's been so incredible watching the boys grow up right before my eyes. Though I'm pursuing other passions through grad school and extracurricular activities, I have always had a passion for childcare and can't imagine it not being a part of my life.
