I have over 10 years experience as a nanny. My last two nanny jobs involved caring for children ages infant through eight years of age. I make it my mission to actively engage children ages infant through early teen years in a hands-on, creative, fun filled and structured day. Including learning shapes, colors, numbers, letters by sight and sounds, months and days of the year, music, nature walks, stroller rides pool time/water play (I am an excellent swimmer) and sensory/creative art depending on the children's needs and the parent's requests. I believe children learn at their own pace and always use redirecting and positive re-enforcement, open ended questions to problem solve and engage a thinking brain. I am used to working by myself with 12 children ages 2-teen at one time for an eight hour day/40 hours per week or four infant/toddlers by myself for an eight hour day/40 hours per week. I love and am passionate about seeing and recognizing each child's individual talents and needs and helping them to develop these stellar qualities that make them unique and thrive! I have excellent references upon request, TB tested, DTAP shot given and am Trustline/Livescan registered, CPR certified. - Katherine
