I have a huge family, over 15 cousins under the age of 14, and I have babysat for each of them at least once in my life, if not more. I am a very family oriented person and enjoy working with younger children. I have worked in a preschool and also assisted in a kindergarten classroom. I have 5 years of experience as a camp counselor in all types of settings (sleep-away, beach camp, outdoorsy camp). My major at the University of Connecticut is Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in Early Childhood Development and Education. I am going to be a senior in the fall (2012). I am reliable, friendly, and responsible.

High school experience: I took child development and child study courses, worked in preschool setting in my high school, worked in Kindergarten classroom for a month as an intern, worked at three different summer camps (day camp and sleepover camp) all with children under the age of six. College experience: I've taken 12 "Human Development and Family Studies" courses and will be student teaching within the next year.
In the past, I have worked as a nanny, a camp counselor, and I also volunteer for an organization pertaining to children.
