I grew up in a family of seven. My mom was a stay at home mom, and I've always looked up to her for that.
My parents were the Sunday school teachers at our church for many years, and I always helped out. I started babysitting around age 9 for my four cousins, friends of the family, neighbors and families from church. After graduating, I did a six month internship with Resurrection Life Church focusing on the youth in Ionia, Michigan. The following summer, I was a nanny for my music pastors' two children, ages 5 and 7. I have five nephews and three nieces. I am currently taking time off from pursuing a Bachelor's in elementary education after marrying the man of my dreams. I have worked with children oversees and would love to one day teach at an orphanage in China. I think kids are a gift and our future and deserve the highest care and attention.
