I come from a family of teachers (mother, father, both sisters, and grandparents), so I was taught at a very young age how to care for young children. In high school, I went through three child care courses and went to a technical school and received my CDA. I have been baby-sitting since I was about 10 years old with my older sisters, but on my own at about age 15. I have experience with children with Down syndrome and autism. I have grown up loving children and always will. I started at FGCU to get a degree in Early Childhood Education, but recently changed it to Psychology to focus on disorders in children and adults. Although, I am going to get a minor in Education.
