I'm a language arts/art/social studies teacher during the school year, whom my darling students recently referred to as "fun" and (from one little brainiac) "a model of creativity."

I enjoy working with children of all ages. I work with moody middle school students 9 months of the year, which means I'm patient enough to love grumpy toddlers and grumpy teens alike!

In addition to my full-time teaching experience, I have several years of babysitting experience (usually to children ages 1-9) My teaching certificate means that I hold a bachelors degree, am educated in child development and educational theory, as well as being fingerprinted, background checked and certified by the state.

Tutoring duties would also be welcomed! My specialty is language arts, but if your child is struggling in any lower grade subjects I would love to work with you to create an effective summer curriculum!
