For the past three years, I have been working as a ski instructor for a resort. The ages of the children I work with range from 4-7 during that time. We spend 8 hours a day with 5 students. Throughout the day, we are responsible for keeping them safe, making bathroom trips, and providing lunch and snacks. Although my job description is ski instructor, the greater part of my responsibilities remain in care taking. During the summers, I have been working in the activities department at a resort in Brewster. While at the resort, the activities staff and I are responsible for providing entertainment from ages 1-10 depending on the activity. After work, I would often babysit for members and guests. I am skilled at keeping children happy and safe. I have always found that children are drawn to me, and that one of my major skill sets is in caring for them.
