I have over 800 hours of experience with children. While I was a senior in high school, I worked at a preschool childcare. I helped these students get ready for kindergarten registration, came up with activities and crafts and supervised field trips. My summer before going to college, I worked at a summer camp for Wilson School District. I supervised field trips as well, worked one-on-one with students with special needs, came up with activities and crafts, organized games, and provided snack. While being at college, I have done a lot of community service with children. I have been a part of the Dragonfly Spectrum (autism program), Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics and so on. I am a dual major at West Chester. I am majoring in special education (k-8) and middle grade education (4-8). I have been in many middle school classrooms as well as a third grade classrooms. The majority of my time with kids has been with the younger ages but I do know a lot about the 4-8 graders as well. I have 5 nephews and 4 nieces and love being with children. I love building relationships with children and seeing them grow. I have all of my clearances as well as training in first aid and fire safety.
