I have been babysitting and a nanny off and on since I was 15 years old. From Vacation Bible School to full time permanent care, I've pretty much worked in all sectors possible. I have cared for 1 child up to 30 kids. I love what I do!

In Ireland, I worked as an Au Pair for an Irish family for half a year. I worked for a babysitting agency for 4 years in Memphis where I also attended my undergrad (lived there a total of 7 years). I moved to Saint Louis where I was a nanny for another 2.5 years on my own.

Now I am here in Arlington, VA. My boyfriend of over a year got a finance job in Rosslyn, and I transferred with him. We are extremely excited about living in the Arlington area and getting to know the city.

Babysitting and nanny work to me is an ongoing learning experience because I am presented with the opportunity to interact with so many different types of families that are so diverse. Whether it is in culture, religious beliefs, or just the upbringing of their children, I get to see all of it. I enjoy babysitting and being a nanny to all types of children from only a few weeks old to 13. I do not have a problem babysitting special needs children. My older stepbrother has Cerebral Palsy, and I assisted in taking care of him while growing up, so I can relate to the challenges of the day to day tasks.

I cater to each family's needs. I understand that no two children are alike. All children are different and should be treated as individuals. As mentioned prior, I love watching kids grow and form their personalities. It's an honor to have that opportunity.
