Since September 2010 I have been taking care of three girls 3, 5 and 8 years old. My main responsibilities are: learning activities: teaching the children proper speech, the basics of counting, their ABCs, shapes, colors, courtesy, sharing, and neatness; helping the 8 year old with homework. Making art projects with girls: drawing, painting, playing with paper-mache or play-doh....

Since September 2010 I have been taking care of three girls 3, 5 and 8 years old. My main responsibilities are: learning activities: teaching the children proper speech, the basics of counting, their ABCs, shapes, colors, courtesy, sharing, and neatness; helping the 8 year old with homework. Making art projects with girls: drawing, painting, playing with paper-mache or play-doh. Helping the children learn about personal hygiene: learning to dress themselves, potty training, brushing teeth after meals. Preparing food and snacks for the children. Transportation of the children to and from parks and special events, in the parents' vehicle (mini van). Dropping off and picking up children from school. Taking the children on walks to and from the park. Taking and supervising children at the swimming pool. Taking the 3-year-old to gymnastics and the 5 and 8-year-old to dance class. Organization of play dates, games and entertainment for girls. I'm also responsible for making laundry, cleaning up girls' rooms and play area. I do some light housekeeping like vacuuming, loading and unloading a dishwasher.

During summer I was working as a tutor on holiday camps and I was responsible for the younger - 7-13 years - group of children. My duties were: taking care of the children and organizing cultural activities. When I recall that time, it looks nice to me. I also was working in primary school as a tutor, with 7-9 years old children and mostly my responsibility was childcare during school trips.
