I did my clinicals in college at SKIP (Special Kids in Preschool) so I worked with children with mental and developmental disabilities ages 2-4.
I currently work at the Martin Luther King Center with kids aged 5-10.
I am doing my Senior Inquiry at Jefferson school for children with developmental disabilities ages 2-4.
I volunteer at GiGi's Playhouse to work with infants-teens with Down Syndrome.
I am currently a senior in college double majoring in Psychology and Communication Studies. Next year I will be attending Elmhurst College to get my masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Developmental Therapy. I have worked with kids my entire life and I love working with them no matter what their ability level is. I love to play games, go outside, and read stories. I have an infant niece and an infant nephew and my Godson is on the way. Please contact me if you think I would be a good match for your family. I only have grad classes on Tues/Thurs from 5:30-8:00, so I am looking for something part/full time outside of that.
