My previous position was for a family with two girls aged 4 and 6 living in Larkspur, CA. This position came to a close as the family's schedule changes and they didn't anticipate needing a nanny regularly. I worked in this position for about 6 months. My responsibilities included: picking the kids up from school, taking them to the play ground/park or walking the trails, painting, drawing and doing puzzles. I also prepared dinner, afternoon snacks, and helped with baths. In addition I assisted with light housekeeping duties including cleaning dishes, putting them away, cleaning up the playroom and tidying up after projects.
Previously, I worked with a family with 2 kids aged 5 and 3 from early 2009 to end of 2011, when the family moved out of state bringing this position to an end. In this position, I would pick up and drop off the kids at school, take them to the play ground/park, read to them, draw, paint, prepare meals and snacks, give them a bath, get them to bed at night and afternoon naps and assist the parents with light household duties including laundry; vacuuming; cleaning up kids rooms and loading and unloading the dishwasher.
Before that I worked with a family of one; he was 3 months old when I started. He is now 4.5 and I occasionally pick him up from school. My duties include: preparing dinner, laundry, taking him to the park or sometimes just walking or riding his bicycle, some art and craft projects, giving him a bath, reading to him and putting him to bed for the night. In addition to this, I'd do some light housekeeping.
I have more than 10 years of experience as a nanny. I started babysitting mostly for friends and occasionally still do to give them an opportunity to run errands, attend functions or even for a dinner date.
I have experience with children ranging from newborns to teenagers and I love it. I'm sure I'll be a great nanny to your children. I've worked as a nurse assistant for more than 10 years in acute care hospitals (working in the ER, ICU, pediatrics, labor and delivery), rehab centers, group homes and long-term care facilities.
I have current CPR and First Aid. I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker and I have a good driving record with a reliable and insured car.
