Hi, my name is Marlana. I am 21 years old and currently a college student dual majoring in Early Childhood Education and Dance. I am very enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, trustworthy, honest, punctual, and personable. I absolutely love children and enjoy seeing them prosper.

During the 2010 summer I worked as a camp specialist/counselor at a day camp. I had a blast and enjoyed every minute with my kids. In high school, I mentored a third grade boy who was having difficulty with his academics. In the long run, I helped him pass the FCAT, which is the standardized test in Florida that every student must pass to progress to the next grade level.

I'm passionate about what I do because I love to help children learn and strive for greatness, happiness, etc. in life. I feel if children have a positive influence and figure in their lives they are going to absorb life's lessons more, and have positive experiences to look back on in the future. Nonetheless, I think children should be loved and nurtured.
