Allow me to introduce myself and review with you my experience as a resume overview. My name is Marla and I am a responsible, reliable, and creative 25-year-old woman. My related experience is vast, as young as 13, I ran my own babysitting business and cared for more than 3 families weekly, one of which had 5 children under the age of 7. I advanced to become a Personal Care Attendant at age 16, where I cared for children with behavioral and mental disabilities. After high school I went on to become a certified Home Health Aid, began to care for individuals as their PT live in. Along the years I have been employed by multiple care agencies and organizations. In 2007 I accepted a live in position with a quadriplegic woman suffering from M. S. during which I also nannied for a seperate family. After my year contract, I decided to go full time with house management/ personal assisting and childcare. I also worked PT as a In Home Counselor to highly functioning adults. I do what I do because I have a lot of patience, love, and understanding for those in need. I am passionate about working with children because I know that in this day and age childcare is almost mandatory and providing an educational, positive, and exciting environment for children to grow in is what I love to do. I see this type of position equally rewarding for both parties. I provide fun, safe, and reliable childcare and out of it comes the responsibility of a rewarding "mentor" type of relationship.
