I graduated high school in the spring of 2011 from a private catholic all girls high school in Glendora, CA called St. Lucy's Priory High School. While I attended school there I worked as a teacher's aid for one year at the St. Lucy's Priory High School Preschool with 3 to 4-year-olds (My favorite age to work with!). I also took a child development class and psychology class prior to working as a teacher's aid which prepared me to interact and understand the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children. After working with those children and taking those classes I had decided I loved working with children so much that it is what I am now studying in college at the California State University, Northridge. I am currently a Communications Disorders major with an option in speech and language Pathology hoping to have a focus in working with autistic children. I have also taken a college course in child development and continue to babysit for family members ages 5-11.
