Hi, I am 24 years old. I am the mother to an 1-year-old little girl. I have six years experience as a professional nanny and another six with family and family friends. I am reliable and have four pristine references upon request. I have experience with children (aged 6-weeks to 12-years-old) and experience with up to five young children at once. I have worked with autistic children and children with ADD/ADHD. I am patient, understanding, kind and caring. I am reliable, responsible, trustworthy, and honest. I drive and have my own car.
Currently I work Part-Time for a family in Wake Forest. The children are 9 months, and 4 years old. I am responsible for feeding, occasional bathing, nap time, general safety, and playing with the children. I also preform light housekeeping such as switching laundry, and loading and unloading the dishwasher.
Before, I was working with a 3-year-old child of a police officer. I am responsible for feeding dinner, playing with child, bathing child, changing diapers (and now potty training), assisting with speech, teaching child, and putting child to sleep.
Before my current position I was working for a family with a 6-month-old child. I was working full time for this family and am responsible for all aspects of the baby's care (laundry, feeding, changing, bath time, and cleaning up after the baby). The only reason this position ended was because she was a single mother and not able to afford the weekly salary we had agreed upon.
My position before that was for a total of 17 months, and only ended because the family decided to put the children in day care full time, and shift work hours, so, a nanny was not needed. The children were 2 1/2-years-old, and almost 4-years-old at the end of the position. I was responsible for all aspects of child care, food preparation, bath time, driving to/from school and activities, reading to the kids, teaching them letters/numbers/colors/shapes, overseeing play dates, taking trips to the beach/park/walks, potty training, and changing diapers. Light housekeeping (dishes/laundry/keeping areas children used clean) was also part of my job description.
For about 1 year I worked for another family with a child with mild autism. I was responsible for all aspects of his daily life.
Each and every one of my prior positions with give my a sterling reference. I keep in contact with all families that I have previously worked for. I love watching children grow!
