Since I was a young girl in High School I have been in the babysitting business. I originally started babysitting 7-year-olds until I got a job at the local YMCA. While working at the YMCA I was an after school counselor working with the children in the kindergarten and also 1-3rd grade program. When summer came along I worked the YMCA summer camps as a counselor with the teenagers. As I was working at the YMCA I was attending college at the University of South Florida. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors in Science with an emphasis in Secondary Education. With this degree I am certified to teach any Social Science course to grades 6-12 in the state of Florida. I am currently not teaching in Hillsborough County due to a shortage in hiring and no positions available in my field.
