Hello! I am looking forward to caring for children again. I care for senior citizens also, but really enjoy time spent with the kids too! Through this website, I was hired for after school care for twin 1st graders last year. It was a fun time, but only a school year assignment. During the summer, I went back to working in home care for the elderly and thats where I am currently at. I am looking to switch back to elementary school aged child care or a blend of my current job and childcare.
Personally, I am a mother of 2 successful young adult children.
Professionally, I have worked as an Educational Assistant in a local public school system. I was a sub, so I worked in every grade from K-12, in every position from a classroom aide to the teacher, a one-on-one tutor, hall monitor, in school suspension room supervisor, field trip aide and anything else the school of the day needed. I particularly enjoyed working with elementary school aged students. I would prefer to provide child care to children who are already potty trained including preschoolers.
Over my employed years, I have also worked with senior citizens, the disabled and the developmentally disabled in rehab centers, nursing homes, as a job coach for the developmentally disabled and as a caregiver for senior citizens in their homes.

All of my employment has been in the capacity of helping others as this is so close to my heart.
