My name is Maribel and I have been a nanny and child care provider for more than 16 years. I love children and I enjoy being around them. I'm currently taking general studies classes in college. My two last jobs were working for a family with three children whose ages were newborn, 3 years, and 5 years old. I worked for them for almost 11 years. Once the kids were grown up, I assisted another family with two kids ages two and four. I've worked for them for almost 8 years and recently started working only part-time. I think I've been successful in as a child care provider because I am reliable, trustworthy and provide nurturing care within a supportive environment. I earn the children's respect by ensuring they have age appropriate activities to learn from as well as requiring them to have proper manners when dealing with each other and adults alike. One of my other skills is being fluent in three languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English. References available.
