I have been a teacher for the past 17 years in private Christian education. I have also been an after school program supervisor/worker and summer camp supervisor/counselor for the past 6 years. I have raised three children of my own that are now adults. In the after school program I assisted with homework help, arts and crafts, games and activities. In the summer camp program I planned theme weeks which included arts and crafts, cooking activities, games, recreational activities and field trips. I also provided academic activities to ensure that what they had learned through out the school year was not lost during the summer. It was our responsibility to provide a fun, safe, nurturing and safe environment for the campers.
I have been actively involved with the educational, developmental, social, and emotional development of children for many years. I enjoy working and being with children. It gives me great pleasure to see them grow and learn to become all that is in their hearts to be.
