I am a sophomore at Spring Arbor University majoring in Social Work and Psychology. I love working with kids and aspire to attain a career helping children. Last summer I worked as a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Ohiyesa working with kids ages 4-15. I was responsible for leading activities, crafts, games, songs, horseback riding, petting farm and team building. I am trained in Life guarding, First Aid, and CPR. Prior experience includes being a summer nanny for 2 children (ages 5 and 7) for 3 consecutive summers. I was responsible for preparing meals, transportation to activities, entertaining children and ensuring their safety. I have 7 years of babysitting experience with children from newborn to adolescence. I have experience as a childcare volunteer at church from nursery to elementary age. I also have 4 younger siblings and have had ample opportunity to learn childcare providing skills in my home.
