I naturally love working with children of all ages. I have always had the ability to engage, understand and interact well with them and consider that to be a great gift to have. I started babysitting when I was 14 years old taking care of our family friends' children. Throughout my experience I have taken care of many children ranging in age from infants to their early teens, so I am very familiar with the level of care that is needed in all the different stages of development.

I am a responsible, dedicated, caring and nurturing person. I am also creative and like to have fun doing all sorts of age appropriate activities. I constantly strive to develop a good relationship with the families I work with. I am well aware of the great responsibility that is placed upon me to take care of their most precious possession while they are away. My number one priority is to always make sure the children are safe, comfortable and ultimately happy when they're in my care.

I looked after my nephew many times as a baby and later took care of him full time from the age of four, right before he started school, up until the age of nine. I worked for a couple of years as a counselor/activity leader at two local elementary schools in their after school program looking after groups of kindergartners and first graders. I also worked for five years at a community center's after-school and summer camp programs, first as a counselor and later as assistant to the director of children's services. As a counselor, I cared for a group of second graders, leading them in different activities such as homework, arts and crafts, games, cooking and sports. As Assistant Supervisor, I helped manage a staff of Activity Leaders in looking after groups of children from kindergarten to 8th grade, making sure the program ran safely and smoothly from the moment the children arrived at the center, until the very last one went home.

For the past year, I have been working as a full-time Nanny for a wonderful family, taking care of their 3 beautiful children ages 4, 6 & 8. I both take them and pick them up from school. I also help out with bathing, snack, homework and dinner, as I make sure everything is done and they are ready for bedtime.

I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish, I am certified in pediatric first aid and CPR, I have my own transportation with a good driving record, I love animals and at the moment, I have the flexibility to accommodate the schedule that you are looking for.
