I worked for a Family as their nanny, since their infant boy was born, 8/3/2011- 03/30/30. Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. I did motherly duties, putting him down for naps, changing his clothing, diapering, feeding, preparing food & bottle, baby yoga, singing, reading, (playing), and long walks in his stroller. I am CPR & F. A. T Certified for infants. Mother was working from home but has decided to take time off work to care for baby full time.
I was also a long term nanny for another family from January 2002 - May 2010. I worked for this family for eight years and still to this day. I do occasional sitting for them. I cared for their infant when the mother went back to work after maternity leave. Their infant was 3 months old. I basically did motherly duties, until mother or father got home from work. When he began kindergarten, I took him to school and picked him up from school. I cared for him until either one of his parents got home from work. Plus, I was a teacher assistant for a L. A. Unified elementary school for 13 years. I'm around children often, I have eight nieces and three nephews ages 25-toddlers. I've been working with children since I was 23 and now 43.
