Before that, I was babysitting for approximately 8 years. I have previous schooling and recent training. I have never held any other type of work, as teaching and child care has been my only interest. I did take a break for several years while I became a foster parent in the state of Oregon. During that 10 year period I had the opportunity and challenge of parenting over 100 children from birth-17 years.
