Hi, I am 19. I have been caring for children since I was 7. When I was 7 my baby brother was born; I have helped take care of him. I have been baby-sitting for 3 different families when they need me. One of the families I baby-sit for is my sister who has 2 boys, a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old. I have been caring for her boys since the 5-year-old was 3 months old. Her 4-year-old son was born with heart and lung problems; his heart would stop, so he was on a heart monitor. While his mom was at work I would take over his care. I was trained on CPR to help care for him.
The 2nd family I cared for until the moved last month has 4 children, a 13-year-old boy with behavior problems, an 8-year-old little girl, a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy. I have cared for the kids off and on for the past 7 years.
The other family I cared for until they went into foster care has 2 sons, a 9-year-old and a 7-year-old. The boys have been taught to disrespect women and I am helping to get the kids to listen to what their mother tells them to do; it was an ongoing process. I cared for the boys about 3 years.
I have changed diapers, fixed food and cleaned house for the families I cared for. I love to be around kids; they help make your day with their little smiles. I do not ask for an hourly rate, I ask for the parents to pay me what they see fit.
I do not smoke; I am allergic to smoke. I am a very responsible baby sitter. In the past on New Years Eve I was baby-sitting 9 kids between the ages of newborn and 12 years old. I have never drank in my life, I highly disagree with smoking, drinking and drugs. I don't care if others do them, but I refuse to do any of it.
When I'm older I want to foster kids and animals. I am planing on going to college to become a Vet Tech. I went to 911 camp when I was 12. I have been in CPR classes twice.
