Hello! My name is Meg! I am looking for employment as a live-out nanny or I simply can babysit for you when you need some time away from the kids! I am a very loving and nurturing person. In every way I am an involved mom! I am a retired teacher from the CCSD (28 years) where I taught Language Arts and Social Studies. Now, just being retired does not mean I am too old to be an effective nanny and caregiver. I have lots of energy and really want to work. Here, are some things about me, I hope you will find helpful to know. I am a young 54-year-old and I have been married for 24 years to my wonderful husband. I am the mother of our beautiful and brilliant 16-year-old daughter. I feel that children need as much stimulation as possible and I include arts and crafts, games and music as part of a little one's care. The love of literature is very important to me; and I especially enjoy reading to children. Nothing feels nicer, than the bond you get when reading with a child. As we have 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescued from the Animal Foundation. I am very comfortable around pets. I am a Christian so I do not smoke, swear, drink, or say unkind remarks. I try in every way to be a good model for my daughter and I will do the same for your little one's while in my care. I will be happy to help keep the child's rooms neat and tidy, do laundry, dishes, run the vacuum, dust, take care of any pets, run errands; as you can probably tell, I like to keep busy. I have my own transportation, current auto insurance, and now you have access to my criminal background check! I can start immediately and references are available upon request. Also, if you are running a little late, or you need me to stay a bit longer, I will not ask for more money.
